Today is a historically rare global Palindrome Day. February 2, 2020 is a rare date because it reads as a palindrome. Here’s the scoop:

Two of the first palindrome dates occurred over 800 years ago: November 11, 1111 and November 21, 1211. The very last palindromic date occurred on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 (11.02.2011). After February 2, 2020, the next palindromic date will occur on Friday, December 12, 2121 (12.12.2121).
