Sofronio Vasquez: From ‘The Voice’ to Upcoming EP with Michael Bublé

Filipino singer and The Voice winner Sofronio Vasquez is making history as an emerging artist with an international fan base. A rising star, Vasquez is working with Michael Bublé to record his debut EP. This fan-anticipated EP will show Vasquez’s artistry, with surprise collaborations. Here’s the scoop:

Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez acknowledged his late father as the one who helped him rediscover his passion for music. Vasquez received a four-chair turn on Season 26 of The Voice while covering “I’m Goin’ Down” during the Blind Auditions. With Michael Bublé as his coach, Vasquez commanded the stage during the Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and Playoffs. After singing “Who’s Lovin’ You” with Michael Bublé, Vasquez became the first Asian male to win NBC’s The Voice. From the start, Bublé believed in Vasquez and supported his artistic vision.

Released in October 2025, “Maybe This Christmas” is the new single from Sofronio Vasquez featuring Michael Bublé. Vasquez also recorded two new songs. Vasquez also recorded his cover of “Grown Up Christmas List,” a holiday classic composed by David Foster. After coaching Vasquez on The Voice, Michael Bublé joined him in the studio to record his first album. On December 23, Beyond The Voice revealed behind-the-scenes footage of Vasquez’s studio session. This footage also reveals collaborations with two music icons: Grammy-winning music producer David Foster and Bublé’s long-time mentor, Paul Anka.

In December 2025, Vasquez performed “Superman,” a song written by Michael Bublé. A defining chapter, Sofronio Vasquez’s debut EP will include cover songs from The Voice and surprise musical collaborations. Vasquez’s next single, “My Way,” is slated for a 2026 release. ‘The Voice’ Season 24 to feature new coach

NBC has announced The Voice‘s Season 24 premiere date. A new coach will be replacing Blake Shelton this season. Here’s the scoop:

Season 24 of The Voice will premiere September 25, airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC. Carson Daly is returning as the host. Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Reba McEntire are this season’s coaches. (Country superstar Reba McEntire also appeared on Season 23 of The Voice as a mega mentor.) Girl Named Tom launches “The Season 21 Collection” EP

Girl Named Tom has launched a new EP with songs they performed on The Voice. Here’s the scoop:

Girl Named Tom, a trio, worked with Kelly Clarkson under her team on The Voice. This trio’s signature pop-folk-acoustic sound is very memorable and unique. Their new EP, “The Season 21 Collection”, launched on December 15, 2021. is released under Republic Records, a division of UMG Recordings. Six cover songs are included on Girl Named Tom’s EP: “Dust in the Wind”. “More Hearts than Mine”, “Viva La Vida”, “River”, “Baby Now that I’ve Found You”, and “The Chain”. Girl Named Tom’s EP received a lot of five-star reviews and comments from fans who love their harmonies and pure talent.

Girl Named Tom is the first trio to win on The Voice (USA). Season 21 featured an incredible range of talent, including Wendy Moten (the runner-up on Team Blake). For season 21, Ariana Grande is replacing Nick Jonas as a coach on The Voice. In the trailer, Ariana Grande sang “Hopelessly Devoted to You” by Olivia Newton-John (from Grease). This season, Grande is joined by Blake Shelton (who has coached since season one) as well as John Legend and Kelly Clarkson. Season 21 of The Voice starts Monday, September 20 at 8/7 central on NBC.
