Hello Sunday’s performance makes Taylor Swift cry

Hello Sunday’s performance made Taylor Swift cry on NBC’s The Voice during their rehearsal for the knockout rounds. Here’s the scoop:

Hello Sunday is on Kelly Clarkson’s team. There are two teenage singers in this group: Chelsea (14) and Myla (14). Together, they sing to spread joy and positivity through their music. Hello Sunday is making history by shining as the youngest musical duo on season 17 of NBC’s The Voice.

During the rehearsals for the knockout rounds, Hello Sunday performed a cover of “Almost is Never Enough” by Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes in the musical key of D major. As Hello Sunday performed onstage during the rehearsals, their signature harmonies and soulful vocals shined.

Hello Sunday said, “We chose to sing “Almost is Never Enough” by Ariana Grande… We thought it would be the perfect song to evoke emotion because we want to, you know, stretch and grow.”

Taylor Swift started to cry after they finished singing. She was amazed by their stage presence, confidence, and sense of identity as musical artists.

Taylor Swift responded, “When I started out, I was 10 or 11 years old… singing for people. But seeing young performers who so firmly have their musical identity figured out… I was so completely shattered by it. I fully fell apart. It was that good.”

Taylor Swift also told Hello Sunday she enjoyed their performance because they connected with each other and faced out to connect with the audience. Then, Taylor Swift gave Hello Sunday a hug. Hello Sunday was elated to receive constructive feedback from the megastar.

Taylor Swift appeared as a mega mentor on season 17 of NBC’s The Voice.
