MaKenzie Thomas sang “How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees during The Knockouts round on Season 15 of NBC’s The Voice. In 24 hours, it peaked at #4 on YouTube Trending and received 300k YouTube views. Her performance received 794k+ total views and is approaching 1 million YouTube views.

As MaKenzie sang, the warm chords from the acoustic guitar harmonized beautifully with her voice. Together, MaKenzie Thomas’ soulful vocals and the acoustic guitar filled the room. This acoustic rendition was memorable because it showcased vulnerability that resonated with the viewers.

Kelly Clarkson was in awe, and her jaw dropped during MaKenzie’s performance. After this performance, Kelly Clarkson told Adam Levine that her leg cramped. Kennedy Holmes’ Adele cover receives 3.9M+ views, four-chair turn

Kennedy Holmes’ Adele cover received 3.9M+ YouTube views and a four-chair turn on The Voice. Here’s the scoop:

At 13, Kennedy Holmes shocked The Voice judges with her Adele cover. Holmes’ stage presence, confidence, and strong vocals left the judges in awe. Holmes received a standing ovation from the judges and audience. After the song ended, Blake Shelton said Holmes could win. The judges encouraged Holmes, agreeing that she is a special artist. 

“I think you are the best vocalist that has auditioned this year. Your voice already sounds so seasoned and accomplished and so much control, so much range,” Blake Shelton said.

Also, Kelly Clarkson was moved to tears after hearing Holmes’ performance.

“Just so you know, the most beautiful parts of your voice aren’t even the biggest. They are the intimate ones when you let that roundness of that falsetto, that head voice, like, set in. It’s so good… You deserved every one of these chairs turning around, girl, you sound so beautiful,” Clarkson added.

After Jennifer Hudson asked Kennedy Holmes how long she had been singing, Holmes cried tears of joy. Holmes told Hudson that she sang “I Am Changing” during her first performance. Then Jennifer Hudson and Kennedy Holmes sang “I Am Changing” together. This live duet showcased Holmes and Hudson’s strong vocals.

“You are gifted. You are a star. It was an honor and pleasure just to sing with you,” Hudson said.

Then Adam Levine said Holmes may become one of the biggest stars from The Voice

“I watched you address every single person on the panel fearlessly and with all of the heart and soul that you were throwing out there… Just to see that kind of confidence naturally exist in you at such a young age… It’s unheard of. After fifteen seasons, you really could become the absolute biggest thing to ever come from this show. So you should be on my team, Kennedy,” Levine responded.
“You are a gem and I understand just how special and precious it is. And if I could instill every inch of whatever I could possibly give you, I would do that. And I would be that coach that’s there for you no matter what,” Hudson said.

Blake Shelton asked Kennedy Holmes to pick a coach. She chose to join Team Jennifer.

Michael Lee’s B.B. King cover peaked at #4 in the Top 10 on YouTube Trending. Today, his performance is approaching 1 million views. Here’s the scoop:

A Texas native, Michael Lee shocked the judges with his cover of “The Thrill is Gone” by B.B. King. In 24 hours, this video landed #7 in the Top 10 on YouTube Trending and received over 500k YouTube views. It peaked at #4 on YouTube TrendingLee’s raw vocals and technical guitar riffs created a memorable performance. Today, this video landed at #17 on YouTube Trending. In addition to landing in the Top 20 of YouTube Trending, this video has received over 747,669 YouTube views. Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, and Blake Shelton turned their chairs during his performance. Kelly Clarkson was in awe after hearing Lee’s performance. Blake Shelton said he would be honored to coach Lee.

Adam Levine emphasized that he turned around before the other coaches. Levine added that he may be the only one that plays the blues and solo guitar. Shelton added that he worked with a couple of guitar players on The Voice. (Team Blake has won The Voice six times.) Kelly Clarkson said that Lee should join Jennifer’s team and gave friendly advice.

“I will tell you, as a Texas sister, choose the team that you feel like you are going to stick out on and not the team that maybe isn’t be like… “I have all the guitarists on my team’… So, I’m team J-Hud all the way. Ain’t nobody on her team like you,” Clarkson said.

“Obviously, your guitar, that’s your extra superpower. But I’m sure you could put that guitar down and my shoe would still be in the same spot that it is right now”, Hudson responded. Then, Michael Lee thanked Jennifer Hudson.

NBC’s The Voice has named fourteen winners. As one of the most popular television shows, it has received an average of 13.46 million views per season. Next month, the first episode of The Voice‘s fifteenth season will air on NBC nationwide. Here’s the scoop:

Carson Daly will host season 15 of NBC’s The Voice, which is scheduled to premiere in September 2018. After participating in Season 13 of The Voice (USA) and coaching on The Voice‘s UK, Jennifer Hudson is returning to NBC’s The Voice USA. Hudson will join Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson as coaches for the fifteenth season. 

CeeLo Green will advise singers on Team Adam, while Keith Urban will mentor singers on Team Blake. Thomas Rhett will advise singers on Team Kelly, while Halsey will mentor singers on Team Jennifer. NBC’s The Voice tweeted to confirm the news:

Brynn Cartelli made headlines as the youngest person to win NBC’s The Voice. Now she is set to perform with mentor Kelly Clarkson on The Today Show. Here’s the scoop:

Brynn Cartelli is an emerging artist in today’s music scene. Throughout season 14, Brynn Cartelli worked with mentor Kelly Clarkson as a singer on her team. Cartelli sang “Don’t Dream It’s Over” with Clarkson during the live finale. Now, this performance has over 897,000 YouTube views. She also collaborated with Julia Michaels. Read more here.

After winning The Voice, Brynn Cartelli was featured in People Magazine. Now, she will perform with Kelly Clarkson on The Today Show in New York City this Friday.
