Selena Gomez’s “De Una Vez” is her first Spanish-language single. Today, “De Una Vez” landed at #1 on the YouTube Trending list. It is also #1 in the Top Latin songs chart on iTunes. In 21 hours, Gomez’s “De Una Vez” video received 1.1M likes and 8.8M+ YouTube views. Also, the “De Una Vez” video showcases nature as a powerful healing element. Gomez wore a pink Rodarte dress with silk flowers in her hair. She sings about healing from heartbreak and finding her strength.

“I hope the message of hope comes across after acknowledging the pain and hurt,” Selena Gomez voiced.

Dwyane Wade, a former guard with the Miami Heat, received honorary recognition for his athleticism and philanthropy work. Wade is a 3× NBA champion, 13× NBA All-Star (2005-2016, 2019) and an NBA All-Star Game MVP. Additionally, Wade won the 2012-13 NBA Community Assist Award during the 2012-2013 season. Wade also received honorary recognition for being the Miami Heat’s all-time assists leader and leading scorer. He received two ESPY awards: Best NBA player and Best Breakthrough Athlete. An avid philanthropist, Wade supported the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as an ambassador for their Hoops for St. Jude basketball initiative.

“I feel complete. That’s why I was able to walk away from the game like I did, because I felt complete,” Dwyane Wade responded. “My career, it surpassed everything that I ever dreamed of. I think that’s the thing, some guys don’t accomplish some of the things that they want to, and they feel like they still have something in them from that standpoint. For me, I’m complete, man. Bruno Mars donates $1M to Flint water crisis

Pop star Bruno Mars is donating $1 million to the Flint water crisis. Here’s the scoop:

With 32.5+ million Twitter followers, Bruno Mars is a fan favorite. On August 12, Bruno Mars performed at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan. Bruno Mars announced his $1 million donation live at this concert while performing on the 24k Magic World Tour in Auburn Hills, Michigan. While the band played “Just the Way You Are”, Mars thanked the crowd for their love and support. Then he received a roar of applause.

“Tonight I want to donate $1 million dollars to our brothers and sisters in Flint, Michigan,” Mars spoke to the crowd. “This is why we love what we do. We get to go up on stage every night… and celebrate under one roof together with all this positive energy.”

Since 2014, the Flint water crisis has affected thousands of Michigan residents. Due to inadequate water treatment, Flint’s water is hazardous and unsafe to drink. Mars’ $1 million donation will go to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. Mars donated this sum of money to aid the victims of Flint, Michigan and help resolve the water crisis. As a result, Bruno Mars was featured on Facebook’s trending topics list.

Michael Phelps receives Legend Award at Kids Choice Sports Awards

Michael Phelps received this year’s Legend Award at the Kids Choice Sports Awards. Here’s the scoop:

As Michael Phelps walked to the stage, he was named the “most decorated Olympian of all time”. With 23 Olympic gold medals and 16 Olympic medals in individual events, Phelps has set new all-time records. Phelps is an 11-time American Swimmer of the Year Award champion and 8-time World Swimmer of the Year Award winner. He joins Aaron Rodgers and Stephen Curry in the list of Associated Press Athlete of the Year winners.

In addition, Michael Phelps is also a philanthropist. He founded the Michael Phelps Foundation, which aims to educate children about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle while expanding opportunities to participate in the sport of swimming. Read more information here. He recently joined the board of Medibio, which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.

During Phelps’ speech, he reflected on his journey as an aspiring Olympian swimmer. As a child, Phelps had a fear of the water. He developed a deep passion for swimming and practiced regularly. Onstage, Phelps talked about the key ingredients of success before encouraging everyone to dream big and work towards accomplishing their goals.

“I wanted to do something that nobody else had done before, and thankfully, with a lot of hard work, a lot of dedication, some sacrifice, and a little bit of luck, I was able to do it. To be honest, I still really haven’t been able to fully process everything.
