Sade is a multi-Grammy winning artist, as she has received GRAMMYs for the following categories: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album (Lovers Rock), Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals (Soldier of Love), and Best R&B performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. Also, all of Sade’s albums are platinum-certified by the RIAA: Diamond Life, Promise, Love Deluxe, and Love Deluxe (4x platinum); Stronger than Pride, Lovers Rock, (3x Platinum), and Soldier of Love (platinum). In addition, Diamond Life became one of the best-selling albums and best-selling debut albums recorded by a female vocalist.

As of 2022, Sade’s outstanding career has spans thirty-eight years and six multi-platinum albums. She has gained an international fanbase with her universally relatable music that transcends genres, captivating stage presence as a live performer and her unique, modelesque style. Also, Sade is an international trendsetter with her minimalistic signature looks and elegant flair. One of her main signature looks is red lipstick and gold hoops. Sade has made history as a guitarist, vocalist, and icon. Sade is the first Nigerian artist to receive a Grammy Award. She has also received an American Music Award, Brit Award, and two ASCAP Pop Music Awards (for “Smooth Operator”, “The Sweetest Taboo”). Eventually, she was appointed to Commander of the same Order in the 2017 Birthday Honours. Sade landed in the Top 10 of Billboard‘s “Top 25 Tours” because of the Sade Live tour. Sade’s “By Your Side” landed in VH1’s 100 Greatest Love Songs list.

“I only make records when I feel I have something to say. I’m not interested in releasing music just for the sake of selling something. Sade is not a brand,” Sade Adu voiced.

Silk Sonic’s “Skate” video glides to #2 on YouTube Trending

Recording artists Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are members of the supergroup known as Silk Sonic. Also, Silk Sonic’s new “Skate” video has glided to #2 on YouTube Trending. Here’s the scoop:

On July 30, 2021, Silk Sonic’s “Skate” (single) was released and the official video premiered on YouTube. Mars said that “Skate” was written in the studio as he and his team imagined performing a song in a roller rink. During an Apple Music interview, Mars shared that this single “came about as part of thought exercise in the studio”. Now, Silk Sonic’s “Skate” video has received 15.7M+ YouTube views and 770K likes. The “Skate” video was directed by Bruno Mars, Florent Déchard, and Philippe Tayag. This video features a crew of skating dancers, live instruments, and choreography. “Skate” is the second single of Silk Sonic’s debut album, An Evening with Silk Sonic. Billboard Hot 100 artist Kelly Clarkson announces new release

Kelly Clarkson is a force to be reckoned with. Clarkson has made history on Billboard with Piece by Piece, the latest album to hit number one on multiple charts. She is the first singer to score 100 number one compiled hits on Billboard. Carrie Underwood currently has 83 number one hits on Billboard, and she will be the second Idol contestant to achieve this incredible feat. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have scored over 50 number one hits on Billboard. As a result, Idol has produced a grand total of 458 Billboard hits. Both artists prove that Idol can consistently produce number one songs.

Kelly Clarkson is currently an artist under Atlantic Records. On June 24, Clarkson announced that she will sign a long-term worldwide deal with Atlantic. Clarkson is working on her upcoming R&B album, which is inspired by soul and R&B (rhythm-and-blues) music. This album is Clarkson’s dream project, as she aspired to make a soul record since she was a little girl. “We have already started creating a record that I have been wanting to make since I was a little girl, and a record that fans have been asking me to make for years. Here’s to the future!” the original Idol said in a statement. Kelly Clarkson’s soul record will be released in 2017. Clarkson posted four fan-requested covers here to celebrate Clarkson’s deal with Atlantic Records.
