Season 15 of NBC’s The Voice to premiere in September 2018

NBC’s The Voice has named fourteen winners. As one of the most popular television shows, it has received an average of 13.46 million views per season. Next month, the first episode of The Voice‘s fifteenth season will air on NBC nationwide. Here’s the scoop:

Carson Daly will host season 15 of NBC’s The Voice, which is scheduled to premiere in September 2018. After participating in Season 13 of The Voice (USA) and coaching on The Voice‘s UK, Jennifer Hudson is returning to NBC’s The Voice USA. Hudson will join Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson as coaches for the fifteenth season. 

CeeLo Green will advise singers on Team Adam, while Keith Urban will mentor singers on Team Blake. Thomas Rhett will advise singers on Team Kelly, while Halsey will mentor singers on Team Jennifer. NBC’s The Voice tweeted to confirm the news:

The Voice: Anthony Alexander sings Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”, Season 13’s Top 12 Reveal

The Voice’s playoffs aired on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Anthony Alexander covered Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” during the playoffs. The Top 12 singers of season 13 were revealed during NBC’s three-day television program. Here’s the scoop:

The Voice’s playoffs showcased a diverse range of talented singers and performances. Anthony Alexander, on Team Adam, sang Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” with raw and emotional vocals. This Ed Sheeran hit is #2 on iTunes’s top songs charts and a trending search.

 

All four coaches agreed that Anthony Alexander is a talented singer. Adam Levine praised Alexander’s performance, stating that he has tremendous potential. Miley Cyrus said that Alexander did a good job. Jennifer Hudson commented that Alexander’s voice is beautiful. To add, Blake Shelton detected Alexander’s nerves during this performance.

The Voice’s season 13 playoffs were taped on August 31 and September 1. Noah Mac’s performance was featured as a sneak peek. Click here to watch this performance. 

Because The Voice’s season 13 playoffs were prerecorded, fans could not vote to save their favorite singer from elimination. In the absence of a viewer voting component, the coaches chose the Top 12 singers. All coaches picked three singers from their teams.

After the three-day playoffs telecast, only twelve singers were safe from elimination. Fan favorite Anthony Alexander was eliminated during the live playoffs. Alexander has gained social media fans and has a bright future ahead of him. On November 30, he will be performing at The Federal in North Hollywood. For more information, click here.

The Voice: Addison Agen receives double steal during Battles, Knockouts Preview

During The Voice‘s battles, Addison Agen received a double steal. At the end of this article, we will show a preview of The Voice‘s Knockouts. Here’s the scoop:

The Voice‘s season 13 battle rounds were filled with a wide range of talent as well as unexpected steals. Addison Agen and Karli Webster performed Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” on Team Miley. Now, this performance has 1M YouTube views. The coaches commented about the unique stage presence and vocal talent of both singers. Miley Cyrus said Webster was the winner of this battle. All coaches can only steal one singer. The singers will perform a song of their choice. Also, The Voice‘s knockouts will feature live surprises and a double steal.

The Voice Season 13 Blind Auditions Recap

NBC’s The Voice launched its thirteenth season in late September. All of the blind auditions have aired on this Emmy-winning program. Here’s the scoop:

Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson are this season’s coaches. According to Nielsen, The Voice‘s auditions received an average of 10.81M views. During the blind auditions, some singers scored four-chair turns.

Brooke Simpson is this season’s first four-chair turn. She was the last performer featured in the first episode. Simpson sang Demi Lovato’s “Stone Cold” with emotional depth. While Simpson sang, Jennifer Hudson threw her shoe. Simpson received a standing ovation after her soulful performance, which has 2.6M views. Brooke Simpson’s main inspiration is her mother. Miley predicted that she would win with Brooke on her team. Then Adam said that the ability to sing soulfully with proficiency, passion, and power is hard to find. He also said that Brooke could win the competition. All coaches agreed that Brooke is a special artist. Brooke Simpson chose to be on Team Miley.

Before The Voice, Keisha Renee sang backup vocals for Nicki Minaj. Now Renee aspires to be a country singer. Renee scored a four-chair turn with her unique audition. Renee appeared on the second episode of season thirteen. Renee sang Don Gibson’s “I Can’t Stop Loving You” with a gospel twist. Now her country-soul performance has 1.3M views. Jennifer Hudson said that it was genius to sing a country song with influences of her gospel upbringing. Then Blake mentioned that he moved from Oklahoma to Nashville at 17 because he wanted to be a country singer. Also, Keisha Renee told the judges that she would be a country-pop-soul artist. Keisha Renee chose to be on Team Blake.

Davon Fleming scored a four-chair turn and a standing ovation. Fleming’s effortless, soulful vocal runs were featured throughout his performance. At 3, Fleming wanted to become a singer. He became inspired after watching his mother perform in the church choir. Fleming sang Amy Winehouse’s “Me and Mr. Jones” on episode three. His smooth and soulful performance now has 1.7M views. With confidence, Blake Shelton predicted that he will be in the finale. Shelton added that he specializes in winning the show, which he could do with Fleming on his team. Jennifer Hudson and Davon Fleming expressed that they are inspired by Whitney Houston. Onstage, Hudson and Fleming sang “I Will Always Love You” together. Davon Fleming chose to be on Team Jennifer.

Jon Mero scored the last four-chair turn. He appeared on episode five of The Voice’s thirteenth season. Whitney Houston’s performance in The Preacher’s Wife inspired Mero to become a singer. Jon Mero sang Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor” while giving a memorable performance. Adam compared Jon Mero to Prince because of his ability to move and connect to the people before adding that it’s impossible to teach this. Then Blake asked if Mero is a trained dancer. Mero said that he is not, but the coaches were in awe. All coaches wanted Mero to join their team. Jon Mero chose to be on Team Adam.

On October 16, NBC’s The Voice will premiere the thirteenth season of battle rounds. Joe Jonas (Team Adam), Billy Ray Cyrus (Team Miley), Kelly Rowland (Team Jennifer), and Rascal Flatts (Team Blake) are the team advisors.
