The Voice’s playoffs aired on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Anthony Alexander covered Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” during the playoffs. The Top 12 singers of season 13 were revealed during NBC’s three-day television program. Here’s the scoop:

The Voice’s playoffs showcased a diverse range of talented singers and performances. Anthony Alexander, on Team Adam, sang Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” with raw and emotional vocals. This Ed Sheeran hit is #2 on iTunes’s top songs charts and a trending search.

All four coaches agreed that Anthony Alexander is a talented singer. Adam Levine praised Alexander’s performance, stating that he has tremendous potential. Miley Cyrus said that Alexander did a good job. Jennifer Hudson commented that Alexander’s voice is beautiful. To add, Blake Shelton detected Alexander’s nerves during this performance.

Because The Voice’s season 13 playoffs were prerecorded, fans could not vote to save their favorite singer from elimination. In the absence of a viewer voting component, the coaches chose the Top 12 singers. All coaches picked three singers from their teams.

After the three-day playoffs telecast, only twelve singers were safe from elimination. Fan favorite Anthony Alexander was eliminated during the live playoffs. Alexander has gained social media fans and has a bright future ahead of him. On November 30, he will be performing at The Federal in North Hollywood. For more information, click here.
