Stevie Wonder takes ‘Songs in the Key Of Life’ on Anniversary Tour

GRAMMY-winning artist and multi-instrumentalist Stevie Wonder has inspired a number of artists including John Legend, Prince, and Anderson .Paak. He was featured with Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan in Rolling Stone‘s list of greatest songwriters. With Songs in the Key of Life (1976), an RIAA-certified diamond record, Wonder became the first Black artist to win a GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. Now, Wonder is celebrating this album’s fiftieth anniversary with an 18-date tour. Here’s the scoop:

Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life Performances – 50th Anniversary Tour starts October 13 in Birmingham’s Utilita Arena. This tour, which includes stops in New York City and the United Kingdom, ends on December 19 at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome. He will perform each track on Songs in the Key of Life at each show. On December 8 and 9, Wonder will perform at Detroit’s Fox Theatre. A Michigan native, Wonder was discovered by The Miracles’ Ronnie White in Detroit during the Motown era.
