On July 29, Sink made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Here, Fallon read some fan theories about Sink’s top-secret role in this film. Some fans guessed that Sink would either play the role of Gwen Stacy, Mayday Parker, Firestar, or the main villain. The most popular fan theory was that Sink would play the role of MCU’s Jean Grey. A true pro, Sink neither confirmed nor denied these theories. Then, Fallon played a short teaser clip, adding more fan anticipation.

In an Entertainment Weekly interview with producer Amy Pascal, Feige responded: “And as Amy’s saying, it’s always about Peter. It always starts with Peter and ends with Peter.
