Bruno Mars showcased his guitar skills during his classic Prince tribute performance at the 59th Grammys. Mars also dressed like Prince with a signature frilled white blouse and purple jacket. He gave an electrifying performance on a white electric guitar. The purple lighting and effects decorated the stage as props during Mars’ Prince tribute.

Mars’ performance with the band displayed synchronicity and technicality that captivated the crowd and viewers. Bruno Mars’ “Let’s Go Crazy” solo was one of the main highlights of this energetic performance.

On February 24, Billboard confirmed Bruno Mars’ first No. 1 R&B debut with “That’s What I Like”. “That’s What I Like” at the Grammys, he returned to the No. 1 position of Billboard’s #Artist100. The digital sales for this song skyrocketed by 308%. During the Grammys performance, Mars talked to the audience. Then, Bruno Mars sang a soulful breakdown with Philip Lawrence and Kameron T. Whalum. Bruno Mars’ authentic style blends pop, R&B, soul, and funk music. Mars is one of the best-selling artists of all time, as he sold over 100 million albums and singles. The RIAA listed Mars as the 9th-bestselling digital-single artist, with a list of certified multi-platinum singles.
“Uptown Funk” is a certified 11x-platinum single, while “Just the Way You Are” is a certified 9x-platinum single. Mars also performed at the Super Bowl 48 and 50 halftime shows. On March 5, Mars will receive the iHeartRadio Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio music awards.

Mars joins Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams as honorary recipients of the prestigious iHeartRadio Innovator Award.
