The Kentucky Wildcats and UCLA Bruins played the Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament game at the FedEx Forum. The Bruins and Wildcats each played with intensity while showcasing their agility, teamwork, and professionalism. During the first half of the game, the Wildcats and Bruins scored over 30 points apiece. The Wildcats gained a narrow 3-point lead at the end of the first half. The Kentucky Wildcats scored 36 points, and the UCLA Bruins scored 33 points.
De’Aaron Fox, the Kentucky Wildcats’ point guard, shined during the second half of this basketball game. Fox led the Wildcats to victory with his focused aim, consistency, and clever tactics. He scored 39 total points during the Bruins vs. Wildcats game. At 19, Fox has established a high reputation as an exceptionally talented player. Rivals, ESPN, Scout, and 24/7 Sports ranked him as the No. 6 overall player in the Class of 2016. This year, De’Aaron Fox was named the SEC Tournament MVP.
De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk delivered an unforgettable game performance. Fox scored 39 points, while Monk scored 21 points. Also, Monk scored 3 rebounds as well as 4 out of 10 field goals. The game ended with 86-75 as the final score. The Kentucky Wildcats advanced to the Elite 8 of NCAA’s March Madness tournament. The Wildcats earned a place in the Elite 8 with their concentration and teamwork.
De’Aaron Fox is making history, just like Kobe Bryant. Bryant earned a 3.7 RPG, 2.8 APG, and 17.6 PPG during the 2015-16 season. Fox earned a 4.0 RPG, 4.6 APG, and a 16.7 PPG during the 2016-17 season. He also scored three rebounds as well as 13 out of 20 field goals. De’Aaron Fox proves that he is a true contender with his impressive basketball statistics. Fox also participated in the 2016 McDonald’s All American game. Kobe Bryant is named in the 35 Greatest Boys McDonald’s All Americans list. Magic Johnson and Shaquille O’ Neal are also featured in this list.
Tonight, Isaac Hamilton and T.J. Leaf were standouts on the UCLA Bruins team. UCLA’s Hamilton and Leaf scored 17 points each. At 22, Hamilton scored four out of five 3-pointer shots. In addition to scoring 17 total points, he also achieved 5 rebounds. Leaf scored 7 out of 11 field goals, along with 7 rebounds. They helped the Bruins score 75 total points.
The Kentucky Wildcats and UCLA Bruins played an exciting game of college basketball that brought fans to their feet. Both teams are winners because they made it to the NCAA March Madness tournament.
