This week, Gaby Borromeo and Mark Isaiah were featured on The Voice’s battle rounds. Now, their performance has over 1 million views. We covered the “Pillowtalk” battle highlights and results. Here is the exclusive scoop:
Gaby Borromeo and Mark Isaiah sang “Pillowtalk” by Zayn. This performance featured colorful blue and green lighting. Onstage, their effortless vocals and unique style shined throughout the performance. After the song ended, Gaby and Mark hugged to show their support each other. Then, Carson Daly walked to join the singers onstage.
After the performance, the coaches commented with their feedback. Blake said that he would pick Mark as the winner because of his authentic delivery and syncopation. Then, Alicia Keys told Gaby and Mark that they both performed well. She added that the decision will be based on what Adam is looking for to fill his team. Although Gwen expressed that both singers were incredible, she felt Mark was the winner. Gwen called Mark Isaiah a special artist. Adam said that Gaby and Mark are dynamic, great singers. He admitted that choosing the winner would not be easy for him.
Carson Daly asked Adam to name the winner: Mark Isaiah. Gaby Borromeo was eliminated after Mark won the battle round. This battle now has over 1.1 million YouTube views.

Gaby Borromeo kept a positive attitude after she was eliminated from The Voice. Gaby expressed that she enjoyed working with Adam Levine on The Voice. Gaby believes that Adam Levine helped her grow as a singer. This mentoring will help Gaby launch her singing career.
“Adam is a great mentor. He is very down to earth, very real, knows exactly what you need to work on […] My big thing was my self-confidence when I perform and he spotted that. Same with John Legend. We really worked through that,” Gaby admitted.
