Hunter Plake is in season 12’s top 12 on NBC’s The Voice. This week, he landed the top 10 of iTunes. Here’s the scoop:

Hunter Plake sang Gotye’s “Somebody that I Used to Know”. In 2013, Gotye’s song received Billboard Music Awards for the Top Hot 100 song and Top Radio Song. Hunter wore a black shirt, black pants, and a black jacket with intricate details. This performance featured raw vocals and colorful, synchronized lighting. Hunter’s contemporary signature sound was showcased onstage with unique artistry. While Hunter sang this catchy tune, the audience clapped along.

The atmosphere of Hunter Plake’s performance felt like a live concert. Even Shania Twain felt that she was at a concert. She said these words after the performance:

“Hunter, you have this beautiful, mild, calm personality,” Twain expressed. “Then when you dig into it, I was at a full-blown concert…”
