Bruno Mars will perform at the 2017 BET Awards. He is also nominated in five categories, including album of the year. Here’s the scoop:
A fan favorite, Bruno Mars has 30.2 million Twitter followers. He also has over 15 million YouTube subscribers and 6 billion total views. Mars is nominated for the best male R&B/ pop artist. He is joined by Usher, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and The Weeknd. Bruno Mars’ “24k Magic” is nominated for the Coca Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, as well as the best video of the year. Also, 24k Magic is nominated in the album of the year category.
Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” is nominated in the video director of the year category. This animated music video has 531,890,640 YouTube views. Mars’ 24k Magic is platinum-certified by the RIAA. “That’s What I Like”, track four on 24k Magic, is certified by the RIAA as a triple-platinum single. RIAA congratulated Bruno Mars and Atlantic Records:
Bruno Mars consistently shines onstage as a true artist. His performances showcase his talents as a performer and choreographer. Mars performed “Versace on the Floor”, track five on 24k Magic, at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. This video now has 10,478,341 YouTube views. It landed in the top 10 of YouTube’s trending list.
