Nickelodeon’s “Sportiest SpongeBob SquarePants Ever” will air on July 16. Here’s the scoop:
SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the longest-running Nickelodeon television programs. LeBron James, Amy Poehler, Johnny Depp, and Scarlett Johannson have made featured guest appearances. Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are fans of SpongeBob, which has received 12 Kids’ Choice Awards. This year, SpongeBob was named “Favorite Cartoon” at the Kids Choice Awards.
In the trailer, SpongeBob SquarePants trains hard as he prepares for the sports showdown with Patrick and Squidward. SpongeBob and his friends will participate in the ultimate sports showdown. They play a variety of sports in the trailer: kickboxing, basketball, football, skating, and golf. SpongeBob will battle Patrick, while Squidward will compete against Sandy. See the slideshow below:
The SpongeBob SquarePants sports showdown will air on Sunday, July 16 at 7:30pm. The Kids’ Choice Sports Awards will be televised after this program. Click here to read more.
