SpongeBob SquarePants made history at the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. It has won the most awards for Favorite Cartoon. Here’s the scoop:

SpongeBob SquarePants was named Favorite Cartoon at the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards. This show is one of Nickelodeon’s most popular programs. SpongeBob SquarePants was first named Favorite Cartoon in 2003, beating out The Simpsons and Kim Possible. Since 2009, SpongeBob SquarePants received ten consecutive Kids’ Choice Awards for Favorite Cartoon. Now, it has won 16 Kids’ Choice Awards. Nickelodeon tweeted this message:

 

Jace Norman, JoJo Siwa, Kira Kosarin, and Alessia Cara are among the long list of SpongeBob SquarePants fans. JoJo Siwa, Hey Violet, and Ricardo Hurtado said that SpongeBob is their favorite character. Ballerini admitted that Spongebob makes her “belly laugh”. Cooper Barnes from Henry Danger said Patrick is the funniest cartoon character named Patrick that he knows. Also, Norman said Mr. Krabs is his favorite character.
