Brynn Cartelli wins season 14 of ‘The Voice’, collaborates with Julia Michaels

Brynn Cartelli won The Voice‘s fourteenth season. She also collaborated with Julia Michaels, a rising singer-songwriter in today’s music scene. Here’s the scoop:

During The Voice‘s season finale, Brynn Cartelli performed with Julia Michaels. Julia co-wrote “Sorry” and “Friends” by Justin Bieber. She also wrote “Fire Starter” for Demi Lovato and “Miss Movin’ On” by Fifth Harmony. In addition, Julia Michaels also writes her music.

Onstage, Brynn and Julia sang “Issues” and “Jump” together. Brynn also sang “Walk My Way”, an original song. Julia Michaels co-wrote “Walk My Way” before the live finale. Brynn Cartelli and Kelly Clarkson sang “Don’t Dream It’s Over” as a duet. Brynn covered Adele’s “Skyfall” and performed live as strings played in the background.
