LeBron James will be joining the Los Angeles Lakers. Here’s the scoop:

James is currently performing on the NBA court with the Cleveland Cavaliers. During the 2017-2018 season, James scored 27.5 points per gameOn January 23, James became the youngest player in NBA history to score 30,000 career points. 

LeBron James agreed to a 4-year, $154 million deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers. Also, James opted out of the final year of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers to become an unrestricted free agent. Historically, James is the first NBA player to switch teams in the offseason after leading the preceding postseason with the total score of points. Kobe Bryant, also known as the Black Mamba, played with the Los Angeles Lakers for twenty years. A former Laker, Bryant received the Legend Award at the Kids Choice Sports Awards. Bryant welcomed LeBron James to the Lakers family by posting a message to Twitter.
