At the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Anthony Russo discussed his thoughts on Avengers: Endgame with Josh Horowitz. Horowitz asked Russo if he had a favorite fan theory that came out after Avengers: Endgame was released. Russo responded by telling him that his favorite fan experience is being in the theater within the first couple weeks of the movie’s release date.
“…It feels like you’re at a rock concert. The people vocalize so much… the cheering, the clapping, and the energy. I’ve never had that experience in the movie theater before and it’s really special,” Anthony Russo responded.
Russo also stated that so many people have worked so long and so hard to bring Endgame to the screen and ensure everybody does justice to the story. The official trailer for Endgame received 2.9M likes and 131M+ views. So far, Avengers: Endgame earned a total of $2.8B in global box offices. It is approaching a total of $3 billion.
