On June 7, YouTube live streamed the Class of 2020 virtual commencement event. A list of famous YouTube influencers and celebrities congratulated the class of 2020 graduates. BTS delivered an inspiring speech filled with hope and comforting words. Here is a quick recap of BTS’s speech:

BTS’s commencement speech is #4 on YouTube Trending. BTS spoke inspiring words of hope and comfort while congratulating the graduates. RM shared his story about his middle school graduation while talking about the feeling of being yourself. Jungkook shared his story and mentioned that he had Jajangmyeon with the other members of the group after his graduation ceremony. Jungkook also talked about the power of having faith in himself, his members, and the world. Also, Jin shared his experience of graduating while sharing his affirmations about conquering doubt.

“If any of you feels lost in the face of doubt or uncertainty, or the pressure of starting anew, don’t rush. Take a deep breath. You may find that any moment can be turned into an opportunity. Allow yourself to take it easy. Take it one step at a time,” Jin said.

SUGA spoke words of reassurance to the graduates while discussing the importance of focusing on yourself. V urged listeners to listen to their hearts. J-Hope shared his honest experience of overcoming doubts by working persistently and trusting himself.

“You are the leader of your own life. And chant it over and over again: ‘I can do it. You got it. I can do it well. I can do it better than anybody’. Like this,” J-Hope voiced.

Jimin sincerely expressed his concerns for all listeners and viewers during his speech. He also sent consolation while speaking words of comfort:

“I think about your health, and whether you’re doing okay… I hope you are all doing well, but if things are not okay… We send you our most sincere consolation with all our hearts… Remember there is a person here in Korea, in the city of Seoul, who understands you… I hope we can all give each other a warm pat on the back and say: ‘It’s okay.’,” Jimin said.

BTS also performed a list of songs at the National Museum of Korea. BTS’s performance of “Boy with Luv”, “Spring Day”, and “Mikrokosmos” was filled with emotional depth and grace. BTS also performed their choreographed high-energy dance routine. This performance is #2 on YouTube Trending.
