The Sims 4 emphasizes the art of character customizations, handy tools for creating abodes, and realistic simulations for Sims characters. Originally, the starting price for this game was $19.99. This year, Electronic Arts and Maxis revealed that The Sims 4 base game will become a free-to-play game starting October 18. The Sims 4 base game will be available on all platforms. However, the Desert Luxe Kit gift is exclusive only to everyone who purchased the Sims 4 game. EA Play members will receive the Sims 4 Get to Work expansion pack, and EA Play Pro members will also receive the Toddler Stuff pack.
Maxis shared, “The team is more dedicated than ever to developing new and meaningful experiences for players, and [we] will continue to develop and release packs, Kits, and Sims Delivery Express drops into the foreseeable future.”
The Behind the Sims Summit livestream will announce updates on October 18 starting at 10:00 AM PDT on Twitch and YouTube. More Sims 4 updates will be shared on social media. And who knows? The Sims 5 may be launching soon! Fans are anticipating another Sims open-world experience.
