‘Pass the Nirvana’ Emo girl Keyawna Nikole drops ‘BLEED’ with Lil Wayne

If there’s one name you should watch in alternative rock right now, it’s Keyawna Nikole. An East Coast native, Keyawna Nikole has established her signature sound as a rising star on the alt-rock scene. Keyawna Nikole’s sound amplifies her spontaneity, pitch-perfect vocals, and emotional depth as an authentic rock artist.

Her journey to the West Coast was more than a road trip — it was a declaration of intent. With an electric guitar slung over her shoulder and a notebook full of multiple original songs, Keyawna drove nonstop to Los Angeles on a mission. As synergy would have it, Keyawna Nikole connected with Vic Fuentes, the lead singer of Pierce the Veil. She was cast as the Emo girl in Pierce the Veil’s “Pass the Nirvana” music video. With 5.9M YouTube views, this music video helped build Keyawna’s brand as a rising alt-rock star.

Looking at her success in working with some of today’s top stars in rock music, Keyawna Nikole is establishing herself as a rising star in alternative rock. She lives and breathes it, and rock fans resonate with her. Keyawna Nikole works constantly in the studio with Grammy-winning rock producer Rob Cavallo, best known for his work with top rock acts like Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore.
