This morning, over two million people tuned in to watch the highly-anticipated Apple Event (including the team at ARTSNLA). Octavia Spencer was featured as a special guest. The new Apple Watches and next-gen iPhone 15 series were revealed. In less than 12 hours, the Apple Event video received 23M views and soared to #1 on YouTube Trending. Here is a full recap of the 2023 Apple Event:

Apple Watch Series 9

The Apple Watch Series 9 is Apple’s first carbon-neutral product. The new double-tap feature can be used to end a call, instantly snooze an alarm, and play music. With the second-gen Ultra Wideband chip, the Precision Finding feature is designed to help find a lost iPhone. if they And the four-core S9 neural engine uses the accelerometer, gyroscope, and optical heart sensor to precisely monitor sleep cycles, heart rate, and more. There are two options for the material of the Watch Series 9: aluminum and stainless steel.

  • Aluminum: Midnight, Pink, Product Red, Starlight, Silver, Midnight
  • Stainless Steel: Gold, Graphite, Silver

Apple Watch Ultra 2

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. It also has a battery life of 36 hours, or 72 hours with low power mode. Other features include on-device Siri, a customizable action button, 40 meters of water resistance, precision dual-frequency GPS, and depth session logs. There are three options for the watch band in the Watch Ultra 2: alpine loop (outdoor), trail loop (workout), ocean band (water sports and diving). The alpine loop and trail loop bands are both carbon-neutral bands.

iPhone 15 / iPhone 15 Plus

The iPhone 15 is operated by an A16 Bionic chip, and comes with a USB-C charging cable (which complies with the European Union law requiring a USB-C port for new smartphones). The iPhone 15 also displays a Dynamic Island, camera upgrades (2x Telephoto/ 48 MP front-facing camera), improved water resistance, ceramic shield glass, and extended battery life.

The second-gen Ultra Wideband chip is also included in the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models. The iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7″ Super Retina XDR display and up to 26 hours of video playback. Like the iPhone 15, the 15 Plus also operates by the A16 Bionic Chip. This month, the Emergency SOS via satellite feature will be available in Spain and Switzerland.

iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro is distinguishable because of its first-ever titanium design. This material ensures a more durable phone that feels almost weightless without compromising its lightning-fast speed or advanced functionality. The iPhone 15 Pro models operate with the A17 Bionic Chip. Additional features that were announced include the Dynamic Island, action button, 5x telephoto zoom, Wi-Fi 6E, ProMotion, USB-C with USB 3, and spatial video.

With a 48 MP camera, the iPhone 15 Pro Max features even more advanced camera upgrades and additional features that create a next-level mobile gaming experience. The 15 Pro Max has an improved telephoto camera with a 5x Zoom, and the 4k60 ProRes format helps add clarity and more definition to music videos and films. 2030 Status – Reducing Carbon Footprint

Octavia Spencer was featured as a special guest during the 2023 Apple Event. She received updates from a group of people about Apple’s progress towards achieving their goal of eliminating carbon emissions by 2030. Here is a list of the steps Apple took so far to completely reduce their impact:

  • All plastic will be removed from packaging by the end of 2024.
  • MacBooks, Apple TVs, and Apple Watches have 100% recycled aluminum.
  • Leather is being replaced by more sustainable materials.
  • Overall, water usage has been reduced by 63 billion gallons.
  • All Apple stores, offices, data centers only use 100% clean electricity.
  • Low-carbon shipping: 95% reduced transportation emissions.
  • The Watch Series 9 is Apple’s first carbon-neutral product.

Tim Cook shared, “By 2030, all Apple devices will have a net zero climate impact.”

CEO Tim Cook announced that the new iPhone series will officially launch on September 22 and pre-orders will start on Friday, September 15. Also, two new iCloud plans were announced: 6 TB and 12 TB. ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ new updates to launch November 5

On November 5, ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ will launch an extensive list of exclusive updates with Version 2.0. The official video soared to #1 on YouTube Trending. It is the last major free content update. Here’s the scoop:

“Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ (Ver. 2.0) is packed with exciting updates that will launch November 5. First, The Roost Cafe is coming to the second floor of the museum (right next to the art gallery). The Brewster serves coffee, which costs 200 bells per cup. You may also invite people to the roost to enjoy a cup of joe at a table by using compatible amiibo cards. Also, Kapp’n will give you a boat tour. You can find Kapp’n on the east coast of the island (near the wooden pier). For 1000 miles, Kapp’n will sing and give you a boat tour while sailing the seas to a mysterious island with new types of flowers and more.

Harv’s Island will be expanding, thanks to Harriet—his long-time friend. On November 5, a plaza with numerous shops will be constructed on Harv’s Island. You can also donate bells to help more shops open on this island. Harriet will be teaching seven new hairstyles when you visit her new hair salon.

In addition, several new features are coming to all islands. Near the island’s flag, you will find a tape deck for group stretching. With this feature, you can exercise with all villagers and the brewster. Under the Island Life 101 feature, you can read tips from Isabelle and Tom Nook. The maximum storage capacity has increased to 5,000 (three expansions were applied). If your pockets are full, then you may use a doorshed as a storage shed to hold some of the items.

Also, you will be able to enact four new island ordinances: Beautiful Island, Bell Boom, Early Bird, and Night Owl. This option is available in Resident Services (while talking with Isabelle). Here is a brief explanation of each ordinance:

  1. Beautiful Island: Your island will become beautified—which means less weeds will appear, no trash in the waters, no cockroaches will appear in homes, and there will be a higher chance of seeing hybrid flowers…
  2. Bell Boom: The selling and buying prices of items will increase.
  3. Early Bird: Villagers will wake up and go to bed at an earlier time. The stores’ business hours will change to adjust to this ordinance.
  4. Night Owl: Villagers will wake up and go to bed at a later time. As a result, the stores will also be open later at night.

New furniture updates will also be available in November 2021. There will be an addition of music boxes (which plays all music). Also, you’ll be able to navigate through any tight spaces in your island home. And new gyroid fragments will also appear on every island! You will be able to bury gyroid fragments in a hole to grow (and water) them to create gyroids. Drummoids and squeezoids are customizable, and they make uniquely creative musical sounds. Permanent ladders will also be available after you get the set-up ladder kits. You will be able to place permanent ladders next to any cliff on your island.

In addition, you will have access to a list of new recipes. First, the list of new cooking DIY+ recipes includes minestrone soup, veggie sandwich, and mushroom salad. Second, 9 new fencing recipes are coming including park, block, corrugated iron, and frozen fencing. Also, 11 reactions are coming to the new reactions notebook including double wave, stretch, jammin’ (to music), listening ears, and say cheese (mainly used when taking a picture). In addition, pro features are going to be added to the NookPhone. In the camera app, the handheld and tripod modes will add more camera angles to capture the perfect photos. The pro construction license increases the amount of bridges and inclines to 10 each. The pro decorating license will allow you to add an accent wall (to customize the look of your island home even further).

On November 5, twelve new K.K. Slider songs will be coming to the Nook Stop terminal (located inside of Resident Services): K.K. Bashment, K.K. Break, K.K. Chillwave (electronica), K.K. Chorinho (Brazilian), K.K. Dub, K.K. Fuge, K.K. Hip Hop, K.K. Lovers, K.K. Polka, K.K. Roid, K.K. Slack-Key, and K.K. Vocaloid (J-Pop). Stay tuned for more updates.

Apple Event, iPhone 13 Pro featured on YouTube Trending

This week, the Apple Event and iPhone 13 Pro were featured in the top 5 on YouTube Trending. Here is a quick recap:

The 2021 Apple Event video soared to #1 on YouTube Trending, while the iPhone 13 Pro video landed at #4 on YouTube Trending. Also, two award-winning producers made a special appearance in the new Apple Event video: Kathryn Bigelow and Greig Fraser. This video demonstrates the iPhone 13 Pro’s new camera upgrades, including ProRes and cinematic mode. They discussed how the iPhone 13 Pro is impacting the world of cinematography because it will directly affect the language of cinema and directing movies.

This week, Apple announced the launch of its new iPhone 13 models as well as two new iPad tablets and the Apple Watch Series 7 (which are more durable). Apple’s new iPhone 13 models start with 128 GB of storage (instead of 64 GB). Also, Apple announced two new iPad tablets: the new iPad mini and the next-gen $329 iPad – which comes in four colors. The iPad mini 6’s button has a Touch ID sensor, USB-C connector, 4k video recording, and more. The next-gen iPad has True Tone display, support for Apple Pencil, and dual microphones. The iPhone 13 models and iPad mini are built with the lightning-fast A15 Bionic chip and 5G compatibility. The iPhone 13 models are scheduled to launch on September 24, 2021. Silk Sonic’s “Leave the Door Open” lands at #1 on iTunes charts, trends internationally

Silk Sonic’s new project, “Leave the Door Open”, is receiving international buzz. This new single peaked at #1 on multiple iTunes charts. Also, it peaked at #1 on YouTube’s Trending videos lists in multiple countries. Here’s the scoop:

Silk Sonic’s “Leave the Door Open”, an R&B/ soul song, is the band’s first single. The “Leave the Door Open” video landed at #1 on U.S.’s YouTube Trending music videos list. It is also trending internationally, as it peaked at #1 on the United Kingdom’s YouTube Trending music videos list and #5 on Japan’s YouTube Trending music videos list. “Leave the Door Open” also peaked at #1 on iTunes’s charts for R&B songs as well as the chart for top songs (all genres).

With 3.8M+ streams, “Leave the Door Open” landed at #6 on Spotify’s global chart. See the following tweet:

Silk Sonic is Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak’s collaborative project. Also, Bootsy Collins came up with Silk Sonic’s band name. Mars and .Paak shared their thoughts about the art of songwriting and recording in the studio together:

Anderson .Paak said, “When you get in and you can jam with someone… another artist that can hold it down and you’re bouncing… That’s different. That’s different, you know, and you’re really creating a groove from scratch…”

Bruno Mars added, “You know, he [Anderson .Paak] is one of the baddest drummers I’ve ever seen… You’re gonna hear that all over the album… That’s what really inspired so much. I’ve never created music like that, with, like drums being the focus… I’ll pick up a guitar, I do it almost backwards like… ‘That’s What I Like’ and ‘Uptown Funk’ is, like, written on a piano.”

Silk Sonic’s album is called An Evening with Silk Sonic, and Bootsy Collins is featured as a host and special guest. Bruno Mars and D’Mile are the producers for this album. Selena Gomez is a recording artist, actress, and UNICEF ambassador who launched her “Rare Beauty” makeup line last year. Now, “De Una Vez” is soaring at the top of this week’s YouTube Trending list. Here’s the scoop:

Selena Gomez’s “De Una Vez” is her first Spanish-language single. Today, “De Una Vez” landed at #1 on the YouTube Trending list. It is also #1 in the Top Latin songs chart on iTunes. In 21 hours, Gomez’s “De Una Vez” video received 1.1M likes and 8.8M+ YouTube views. Also, the “De Una Vez” video showcases nature as a powerful healing element. Gomez wore a pink Rodarte dress with silk flowers in her hair. She sings about healing from heartbreak and finding her strength.

“I hope the message of hope comes across after acknowledging the pain and hurt,” Selena Gomez voiced.
