The 2017 Golden Globes was one of the most watched telecasts this year seen by viewers in countries around the world. Over 200 countries tuned in to the all star telecast. In addition, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) partnered with Twitter to create a live, interactive red carpet broadcast. Viewers witnessed an exclusive glance of the behind-the-scenes action at the Golden Globes red carpet. Here are the main highlights:

AJ Gibson, Jeannie Mai, Yvette Nicole Brown, Liza Koshy, and Scott Mantz were the main hosts of the Golden Globes red carpet event. Their effervescence created an inviting atmosphere of excitement, which made this live broadcast engaging to watch. The red carpet broadcast included the Twitter community. Also, “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon answered questions asked by fans on Twitter. During the live broadcast, the hosts revealed the results of several interactive polls:

During this live broadcast, the hosts talked with a diverse group of Golden Globes nominees. David Schwimmer, Hailee Steinfeld, Christian Slater, and Viola Davis were among the group of A-list celebrities who graced the carpet and talked with the hosts. The nominees were dressed to impress to walk this year’s red carpet.

Hailee Steinfeld received major recognition as an actress and a singer. Steinfeld performed her hit single “Starving” at the 2017 Rockin Eve telecast. Also, her work in The Edge of Seventeen earned her a prestigious Golden Globe nomination. During the red carpet live broadcast, Steinfeld’s sincere tweet appeared on the screen:

The hosts also talked with a long list of A-list celebrities including Gina Rodriguez, David Schwimmer, and Christian Slater. Rodriguez gave a shoutout to her family and Slater expressed his sincere joy towards being nominated with his fellow cast members. Viewers were given a glance at the chefs, seating charts, and more behind-the-scenes action at the Golden Globes. Caterers and designers worked very hard to help create this event’s special atmosphere. Also, Alberico Nunziata was this year’s executive Italian chef at the Golden Globes.
