Singer-songwriter and guitarist Gaby Moreno’s X Mí (Vol. 1) won a GRAMMY for Best Latin Pop Album during the premiere ceremony. After she received this GRAMMY award, Moreno thanked the Recording Academy and a list of people including her mom and sister (who flew in from Guatemala to support her), the team who helped her record this album, and mastering engineer Jett Galindo. A Guatemalan native, Moreno’s music is inspired by her life experiences. She enjoys listening to a variety of genres including Latin music, bolero, blues, and jazz. Moreno announced her new album, “Dusk”, is coming to streaming platforms on February 16.

KYLIE MINOGUE – Best Pop Dance Recording: “Padam Padam”

Kylie Minogue’s “Padam Padam” is the lead single of Minogue’s Tension (2023). As a viral hit with cultural significance, “Padam Padam” is the first song to win a GRAMMY for Best Pop Dance Recording. During the premiere ceremony, Lostboy (producer) acknowledged Kylie Minogue and gave a shoutout to Ina Wroldsen – who helped write this track. During an interview, Minogue shared a message to the LGBTQ+ community. Minogue will also receive the Icon Award at Billboard’s Women in Music event.

TAYLOR SWIFT – Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album

CW’s ‘Professionals’ with Tom Welling premieres October 11

The Sims 4 goes free-to-play on October 18

The Sims 4 emphasizes the art of character customizations, handy tools for creating abodes, and realistic simulations for Sims characters. Originally, the starting price for this game was $19.99. This year, Electronic Arts and Maxis revealed that The Sims 4 base game will become a free-to-play game starting October 18. The Sims 4 base game will be available on all platforms. However, the Desert Luxe Kit gift is exclusive only to everyone who purchased the Sims 4 game. EA Play members will receive the Sims 4 Get to Work expansion pack, and EA Play Pro members will also receive the Toddler Stuff pack.

Maxis shared, “The team is more dedicated than ever to developing new and meaningful experiences for players, and [we] will continue to develop and release packs, Kits, and Sims Delivery Express drops into the foreseeable future.”
