This morning, over two million people tuned in to watch the highly-anticipated Apple Event (including the team at ARTSNLA). Octavia Spencer was featured as a special guest. The new Apple Watches and next-gen iPhone 15 series were revealed. In less than 12 hours, the Apple Event video received 23M views and soared to #1 on YouTube Trending. Apple Watch Series 9
The Apple Watch Series 9 is Apple’s first carbon-neutral product. The new double-tap feature can be used to end a call, instantly snooze an alarm, and play music. With the second-gen Ultra Wideband chip, the Precision Finding feature is designed to help find a lost iPhone. if they And the four-core S9 neural engine uses the accelerometer, gyroscope, and optical heart sensor to precisely monitor sleep cycles, heart rate, and more. There are two options for the material of the Watch Series 9: aluminum and stainless steel.
- Aluminum: Midnight, Pink, Product Red, Starlight, Silver, Midnight
- Stainless Steel: Gold, Graphite, Silver
Apple Watch Ultra 2
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. It also has a battery life of 36 hours, or 72 hours with low power mode. Other features include on-device Siri, a customizable action button, 40 meters of water resistance, precision dual-frequency GPS, and depth session logs. There are three options for the watch band in the Watch Ultra 2: alpine loop (outdoor), trail loop (workout), ocean band (water sports and diving). The alpine loop and trail loop bands are both carbon-neutral bands.

iPhone 15 / iPhone 15 Plus
The iPhone 15 is operated by an A16 Bionic chip, and comes with a USB-C charging cable (which complies with the European Union law requiring a USB-C port for new smartphones). The iPhone 15 also displays a Dynamic Island, camera upgrades (2x Telephoto/ 48 MP front-facing camera), improved water resistance, ceramic shield glass, and extended battery life.
The second-gen Ultra Wideband chip is also included in the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models. The iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7″ Super Retina XDR display and up to 26 hours of video playback. Like the iPhone 15, the 15 Plus also operates by the A16 Bionic Chip. This month, the Emergency SOS via satellite feature will be available in Spain and Switzerland.

iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro is distinguishable because of its first-ever titanium design. This material ensures a more durable phone that feels almost weightless without compromising its lightning-fast speed or advanced functionality. The iPhone 15 Pro models operate with the A17 Bionic Chip. Additional features that were announced include the Dynamic Island, action button, 5x telephoto zoom, Wi-Fi 6E, ProMotion, USB-C with USB 3, and spatial video.
With a 48 MP camera, the iPhone 15 Pro Max features even more advanced camera upgrades and additional features that create a next-level mobile gaming experience. The 15 Pro Max has an improved telephoto camera with a 5x Zoom, and the 4k60 ProRes format helps add clarity and more definition to music videos and films. 2030 Status – Reducing Carbon Footprint
Octavia Spencer was featured as a special guest during the 2023 Apple Event. She received updates from a group of people about Apple’s progress towards achieving their goal of eliminating carbon emissions by 2030. Here is a list of the steps Apple took so far to completely reduce their impact:
- All plastic will be removed from packaging by the end of 2024.
- MacBooks, Apple TVs, and Apple Watches have 100% recycled aluminum.
- Leather is being replaced by more sustainable materials.
- Overall, water usage has been reduced by 63 billion gallons.
- All Apple stores, offices, data centers only use 100% clean electricity.
- Low-carbon shipping: 95% reduced transportation emissions.
- The Watch Series 9 is Apple’s first carbon-neutral product.
Tim Cook shared, “By 2030, all Apple devices will have a net zero climate impact.”

CEO Tim Cook announced that the new iPhone series will officially launch on September 22 and pre-orders will start on Friday, September 15. Also, two new iCloud plans were announced: 6 TB and 12 TB.
